Changing On Heart for Many

If you’re visiting for the first time and you don’t know my story (God’s Story), you may want to check it on the left-hand side bar under “My Secret Sin.” I was one of those human beings who needed a heart change. If you have had an abortion, I want you to know you will find no condemnation here, but you will find Truth wrapped in grace and mercy. God has brought you here because He doesn’t want you to hurt and feel ashamed anymore, but what He does want from you is to trust Him with your pain. Will you do that? I hope so. If you need to talk or need prayer, click on ‘profile’ for email.

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- The House of representatives tonight approved the pro-abortion Senate health care bill on a 219-212 vote with a 34 Democrats joining Republicans against it. Read the rest here, http://www.lifenews.com/nat6168.html
Well for months, this battle has been going on and it passed by four votes. Here’s my thought. I don’t want (my) taxpayers money to pay for any abortion. I don’t want any private insurance company to pay for an abortion. I don’t want abortion legal!

2 Chronicles 7:14 (New International Version)
14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
Father God,
We, as Your people, believers in Christ Jesus confess the sin of our nation concerning abortion, the loss of over 45 million babies. Your Word tells us that righteousness exalts a nation but that sin is a reproach to any people. We pray for the leaders of this country that their hearts will soften and that their eyes will see God’s Truth.
We ask for the people of this nation that laugh at Your righteousness and call You, their God, would humble themselves and turn from their wicked ways!

I'm sorry that Changing One Heart wasn't up early. My life is a little busy right now with family, teaching and speaking. I love being busy for the Lord and I'll share, hopefully next Monday.

Well, I didn't sleep much last night after hearing the results. Made me so mad and frightened and then I took it all to the Lord and told him.

And then he brought me some peace and reminded me that 2000 years ago, he, along with his disciples, were living the midst of incredible chaos--a shifting season of sorts, not unlike the world today.

And still he walked it all the way to the cross and then through that upper room door where he spoke his "peace" in the matter.

And today, I am peace. Tomorrow? Who knows. But I know to Whom I can run for peace every time.

Would love to hear more about your ministering opportunities as time allows. I spoke over the weekend and was completely drained the time I arrived home.

My heart breaks over this... And yet I know my LORD reigns... I pray that what the "enemy" intends for harm in this will be turned around and that many many Americans will wake up to the TRUTH, that light will pierce the darkness and that all that is hidden will be revealed... I pray that this Nation will turn in repentance and that our land (our people - men & women) will be healed and lives will be saved.

Yes, continuing to pray here. I closely followed the proceedings on C-Span. There were some really awesome moments of God's glory shining through, despite the outcome at the end of the night. I posted about it all today.

And thank you Tammy for stopping by. As you know, the same as you, I too, have a personal reason why I have taken such an outspoken stance for life...

May God continue to bless your work here and may he have mercy on our nation.

Blessings.

I thought you might have something on the government takeover and their agenda. It makes me sick but it doesn't surprise me. We have not turned from our wicked ways yet.

I'm looking forward to hearing about your latest ministries.

Love ya!

A friend of mine and I talked about this defeat. She reminded me that the downhill direction our nation is making is scriptural. We have to stay close to God and allow Him to work this out. There are senators who voted against the health care bill who are planning to continue the fight for what is right.

I tried twice now to leave my comment. Must be the enemy blocking my way BUT LET ME SAY IT AGAIN..You know my friend I stand with what you said 150% as I agree fully.

I'm praying for a nation that REPENTS! I don't want our tax dollars or any dollars going toward the murdering of babies either. You already know my story and you know that I stand with you in prayer.

I love you. Praying for you. Praying for all of us. PRAYING FOR THE UNBORN PRECIOUS BABIES!
