Convinced

-->
-->
Last Wednesday was our first women’s bible class for the fall season. I, along with my friend Debbie, will have the privilege teaching from the book “Lies Women Believe and the Truth that Set Them Free” by Nancy Leigh DeMoss, I highly recommend this book. I hope to share with you in the weeks to come my thoughts that I will be presenting to the class.

Genesis 3:6 The woman was convinced. The fruit looked so fresh and delicious, and it would make her so wise! So she ate some of the fruit. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her. Then he ate it, too

As I was reading this verse,  this statement got my eye…The woman was convinced.

I was convinced that the grass was greener on the other side. That’s why my first marriage ended after 10 years and my second was spinning out of control until the Truth grabbed my heart. I was convinced that the night life would fulfill me rather then home life. Through all these feelings, and that is just what they are, feelings, I was convinced.

Instead of writing the rest of this message, I have attempted to video tape. Enjoy.

I'd like to thank my husband for putting together these videos, especially the blooper.
As you can see, he was quite amused with the "clearing my throat" which he added three times :(

Sweetie, your video is set to private so I can't view them.

I love you and am praying for you.

Came back over to try it again. I told you you are a natural Sweetie!

Thank you for the strong and encouraging message of TRUTH!

I also enjoyed the "real process" in video 2. It was a blessing to hear/see you again dear one.

Looking forward to hearing how last night went at service.

Love ya.

I would love to be in one of your Bible classes...your example of being "convinced" was very good...

It was so cute to include your outtakes!! It made me feel like I was listening to an old friend....

What a great message, Tammy, and I really liked the illustration of your husband with his homemade raindrops. He seems a lot like my husband!

Isn't it hard to talk to a camera? I had to do an entire DVD for my writing curriculum and now I'm facing doing four more soon!!! I'd love to say it gets easier, but I'll stick with just keep doing it and pray it gets easier.

I really would like to see more of these from you. What a great Bible study leader you must be.

Yes Tammy,

Sorry this is off subject but I would love to get his website information. Just go to my 'contact us' tab and I'll get it immediately in my email. Thanks. I'm still learning a lot so do you think he'd mind if I asked him a ton of questions??

Amen. What truth you spoke in this video. A young at church one day said to me, you know, satan tells me all the time that, I'm not saved, and that I need to be saved. I ask him to repeat his self, and he said it again. I ask him to think about what he just said, and told him that satan would never led him to the cross. Two days later he received Christ as his Lord and Savior. You are so right, we need to know the voice that speaks to us, and put Gods word in our hearts. Thanks for the post, and may God bless you

I was sitting here listening to you and thinking how good you looked, then you got up and walked away. LOL!

I really enjoyed both of these videos. The message was great. I love the raindrops your husband provided. And the bloopers was great too. My compliments to the videographer. :)

I have been so blessed by you today! Thanks for "eventually" doing the video. It is great to "see" you in person! And I love the bloopers too.

I've been thinking a lot lately about how my grumbling leads to belief in lies. I convince myself, through my grumbling, that Satan's lies are true.

Thanks for your illustration of how we convince ourselves and ignore the truth from God. Keep teaching!!

You are PRECIOUS BEYOND WORDS! LOVE THIS FOR SO MANY REASONS! I can't tell you how stupid I feel talking to a camera. You'll get used to it. I don't ever have a script; I just wing it. And that throat clearing?! I bet you get some good talking mileage out of those.

My "I am convinced's" have not served me well; only the ones involving the Word of God have sown profitable.

Can't wait for the next video. You are the real deal.

Thank you Tammy for both of the videos - loved the "raindrops" part - lol! I have read Lies Women Believe and the Truth that Sets Them Free by Nancy Leigh DeMoss - it is really good. I would love to be in your study group! BTW - I loved the "bloopers" and appreciate you including them. Gives the rest of us encouragement to do those things we feel silly doing but God is leading us to do ;) Keep them coming...

Tammy...I loved your video blog! You did a great job and you are so right...we have to be very careful what voice we are listening to and who it is that is trying to convince us.

I absolutely love the raindrops and the video on how the process went. Priceless!

You are truly a natural for this.

((hugs)
