You are All-Knowing and nothing is hidden from You. You see the destruction of thousands who's lives have and are ending because of abortion. You see hundreds of women hurting, hiding and walking around feeling empty because of the lies that were told to them.
Lord, You have given us a heart that desires to stand up for what is right in Your eyes, now give us a voice of truth when confronted with evil. Give us words that would be bold and with authority to crush the works of satan! We have no trouble praying to You for change but use us to move in the direction to bring change! Not the President's way of change but YOUR WAY!!!
We pray today God, for the Holy Spirit to shake the heart of our President, Congressman, Senators and Representatives. We pray as they look at the women and children that pass by them in their everyday lives, they will realized they have sinned because of their votes against the All Mighty God and come to the full understand of Your amazing grace! In Jesus name...Amen

Wow, your prayer is so much like the one I prayed during my quiet time this morning. Sometimes I don't know how to pray for Mr. Obama so I just ask the Lord to bring him to a saving knowledge of Jesus and until that happens that he will not succeed in anything that isn't according to God's word. I also pray that none of our leaders will prosper from their arrogance.
It's so good to know God is on the throne and is in control.

Amen & Amen! Praying with you. Praying that the Lord will use each one of us to bring about an end to abortion. That the hearts and minds of the Government and people will be yielded to God, His Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit. That we will with patience wait upon Him; that our eyes, hearts and mind will be focused upon Him. Thank you for continuing to unite us in prayer for the life of the pre-born, for the hearts and minds of Our President, Congress and people of this nation be changed by God.

Your blog and your stories are right in the middle of so many tug of wars in the health care thing. I feel such a strong sense of all of us needing to pray during these days. The decisions being made are critical to the future of our children and theirs.

Prayer is the power of change that God has bestowed upon us, not to be put on a shelf but to be used, regularly and often! Pray, yes Lord!
Lila Terhune in her book "Cross Pollination" said that before every great move of God, babies were killed. As a child, the stories of how Pharaoh and Herod killed those babies tore at my heart. It breaks my heart today those little hands that will never grasp their mother's (biological or adopted)fingers.
I stand in agreement with you that our nation's leaders choose life for all children!
